My favorite of the day is the swing, but decided to put the photo above because of the horizontal orientation.

I finally got of of my arse and updated the software that runs this site. I also changed the sidebar to give me more width to be able to place larger images on the posts. I’m seriously thinking of doing away with the site as it is and setting it up as a straight up photoblog, that is what it is turning into anyway.

This is the only photo I took today. It started raining right after taking it I shot a lot of film yesterday, but needed some instant gratification so took the digital with me while I was out. This is next to some trailer park on Virginia Beach Blvd near Oceana Blvd.

Now that I have a scanner that can scan negatives I’ll be rescanning a few of my older Holga shots - not a lot and mostly redoing if I want to use them elsewhere or get some of them printed.

Here’s what I did this morning:

Here’s the old scan of the print from the lab (done back in April):

I scanned this one because I thought it would be great for JPG Mag’s Nighttime theme. I still love how ghostly that roofline looks - I think that this was a 15 second exposure.

It’s nice having more control over the final product. Now I want to see just how big of a print I can make!
