Junk Yard Photo Abstracts

Junk Yard Abstract #4

Today I went to Ocean Salvage junk yard with some other members of the Virginia Beach Photo Club. We met up at 8 in the morning, complete with models for shooting, and had a blast. I was a member of the “Rusty Bumper Crew”, I wasn’t in the mood for shooting models (I never am when shooting with so many other photographers). I think we ended up with around 8 photographers and almost as many models.

I’ve uploaded five of these abstracts, slideshow available on my flickr here. They’ll be as big as your browser window, so maximize that browser!

Let me know what you think! I’m thinking of printing a couple of them large as if they were paintings.

We were just looking at an art show in New Bern where they had some photography that reminded me of the subjects you like to shoot. These are good and I aggree they would be really neat big

Oh, Joe, these are BREATHTAKING! I was trying to pick a favorite, and kept changing my mind. These would be really awesome as huge painting-style reproductions. Have you thought of a book, like all junkyard theme? These are art, I’m telling you. You should be submitting to periodicals, as well. You have a great eye.
