Post-Processing
I’ve been wanting to get better at my post processing of photos lately. I do think I’ve gotten better, but haven’t grown as quickly in that area as I have with taking the photograph initially. Maybe I’m developing my eye, I dunno. I haven’t been shooting much lately, too much work too much Roanoke hotel too much cold weather. Today on a lazy Saturday - the day after a drive back from Roanoke and the day before a drive back to Roanoke - I played around with some Photoshop. I downloaded the “originals” from Flickr and edited from there.
It’s mainly faux lomo style procesing that I applied, a look that I happen to like a lot of the time. As much as I love film digital beats it hands-down on being so much more fiexible with what you do with it later.
Here’s some of the ones I did today:
Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer and partly cloudy, so I think I’m going to take my time getting to Roanoke and photograph some of the abundant awesomeness that is on Highway 460, maybe even find some stuff that is suited for the Orton Effect.

Way cool stuff!
I really like the colors of all of these. I really like the first one of the people movers. Depth pictures are my favorite by far for some reason. lata.
