Happy St Patty’s Day
This morning I rolled out of bed and drove to my old hood - Ocean View - to take pictures at the St Patty’s day parade. I was armed with my Canon AE-1 with 28mm lens attached (proved to be too wide I wish I had the 50mm instead), my Holga, and not enough film.
The parade is funny. The small kids go to see the parade and get beeds. The people my age mostly go to drink and make a fool of themselves. The middle age people go to see their kids in the parade. The old folks go because there is nothing else to do. Dorks like me go to take pictures (leaving right at the moment I ran out of film).
Good times, Norfolk staple.
