Goodbye Renee, we will miss you.

Renee Dueck

Yesterday I got news that a wonderful person who I had the honor of knowing during The Wave USA (2005) had left this earth and gone to be with the Lord. She had a long battle with cancer that finally ended (though not in the way we hoped).

Renee was one of the most loving, creative and fun people I have ever met. The world will miss you Renee, your family left behind are in our prayers.

This is a photo I took while The Wave was going through North Carolina. Renee, Jacqui and Meg all made clay whistles in my Mother’s studio. It was good times.

Her Dad is keeping a blog of what’s going on with the family - definitely a good read. They are an amazing family who keeps their faith and love for God even through the toughest of times. http://daddydueck.blogspot.com/.

I wish I had taken more photos back then.
