Memories - In Postcards
In 2005 I went on a fantastic journey across these United States as part of The Wave USA. If anybody reading this isn’t familiar with this, just search the archives, I wrote a lot during that year. During that year I bought a postcard in each state visited and sent them to my parents.
Today I was straightening up the bookshelf in my office at home and saw the postcards. I decided to scan all of the postcards to share and be able to reflect without having to handle the postcards. Every one of them brings back memories. As you can see from the one below that I bought a lot because I thought that they were funny.
Obviously Nebraska and Iowa have a lot of things in common. ![]()

Click here to visit my Flickr set with all of the postcards. All I’m missing is Alaska and Hawaii, which I didn’t go to. Someday. Someday.
I also started a collection in my Flickr account that will include more sets of photos from The Wave. All I have so far are these postcards and photos from Detroit. More will come later. It’s here.
