Hard to stay away
I’ve found out that once you start working out regularly it’s hard to stay away from it. I told myself that I would take this week off from lifting weights - I want to give my body a little extra time to recuperate (I’ve read it’s good to take a week off every three months or so. I’m still going to do three 30 minute cardio sessions though.
I’m going to post a detail of my routines a little later when I nail it down a little better, but here’s a brief summary… I’ve been doing weight training 4-5 times a week and cardio (30 minutes) 2-3 times a week. It’s only Tuesday, and this week off is already hard. I wanted to do squats, seated calf raises, leg curls, lying leg curls, and standing calf raises so badly tonight!!! That’s my leg workout.
Do they make a weight lifting patch that I can wear until next year (AKA Monday)?
Yeah it is called lazziness, t.v. watching, and general vegging out. This is how I resist the urges at least… lata, Justin
You should definitely keep the cardio going. In fact, why not try and up the cardio and let your muscles relax some. Lower your water intake and your carbs and let your body totally eat up what is stored. You could even try some fast walking to really up that cardio. Anyway. Have fun!
