I would not pay the ticket because it was writen in error and unless The district of Columbia can convince NC to issue front plates there is no way you can comply with that law. I would do all I could to not pay that one it is just plain wrong. At least ask the CO to train the cops to waqlkto the back of the car and see what state issued the plates and if it is not a DC plate dont write the ticket. Joe
