stress time?
this is the first posting that allows me to ask all of y’all to pray for something very specific. it is october 21st and time is starting to catch up with us. we have made so much progress so far. drew and britt have sold their house, we’ve started planning getting rid of it all, handled some work issues, etc. however, we are starting to feel a little stress about what our most immediate needs are. we (drew, britt and myself) have finished our applications and are ready to send them in. we are going to get our passports tomorrow (which we are paying ~$250 to aquire). drew has to get a U-HAUL to carry the rest of our stuff to georgia. we have to come up with $150 each to send in with our WAVE application packets. once accepted (which we have been pre-accepted actually) we have to immediately send in $1500. it is a lot to even think about. so, here is our request. we are not begging for money. in fact, we only want support from those who felt led by God to do so. we just want y’all to pray for these needs. pray that funds will come about and we will learn to deal with the stresses of deadlines and fees. God has been faithful to us and we are faithful to him. we are listening to God. our hearts are right and our faith is strong. we know God’s love will be wrapped around us. but, if you could. pray for us. keep us in mind each night before you go to bed. we haven’t even hit the field yet and we are already having to deal with stress and small opposition. well, until next time……
